  • Road-Tested with Dennis Busenitz

Dennis Busenitz takes his talents to the road with Volcom in the latest installment of Road-Tested.

The artistically shot clip highlights the talent level of the reigning Tampa Pro champ. It's difficult task to capture this level of skating in a five minute internet clip but somehow the dudes at Volcom manage to get the job done.

As always we want you to form your own opinion so watch the video and decide for yourself.

  • Dennis Busenitz wins the Tampa Pro 2011

Dennis Busenitz put together a near flawless final run to win his second Tampa Pro title. Busenitz flew in from San Francisco the night before the finals only to come out the next day and put on one of his best performances of his career.

Every year the level of competition gets more and more intense at the Skate Park of Tampa and this year was no different, Naja Huston took his second consecutive 2nd place finish, and the best trick winner Torey Pudwill finished third.

  • Brenes And Kirchart Move On In The Battle At The Berrics

Two Battles at the Berrics went down this past weekend, Dennis Busenitz vs. Chico Brenes, and The BERR in the Berrics, Steve Berra vs. Heath Kirchart.

In the first battle, Chico tech-ed his way to victory over Busenitz, who's more known for his fast creative lines than he is his tech. Then in the second, which was held in private and with no ref. (they reffed themselves like gentleman) Kirchart took out the part-owner of the whole damn thing. Click here to check it out.

  • Busenitz For Best Street

Okay, so the 12TH Annual Tansworld Skateboarding Awards are this Tuesday at the Avolon in Hollywood ,CA. The nominees have been announced, and the stage has been set, and what do we at The Grind TV SKATE department have to say. BUSENITZ for Best Street! It's about time. I'm surprised Phelps over at Thrasher hasn't already given him a S.O.T.Y.

Anyway, I know Cole kills it and everything, I just watched him collect his second $100,000 courtesy of the Maloof Cup. And I know he also kills it in the real streets, he pretty much retired Wallenburg last year. I'm just saying when it comes to flat out raw city street skating Busenitz may just have the one who goes by Cole. Have you ever watched him skate the streets of San Francisco? First of all, he is the fastest street skateboarder in world, and what I mean by that is he can do tricks on flatground, ledges, stairs, etc. going faster than anyone. Period.

That said, back to the fact that he lives in San Francisco, and skates those mean Rice-a-Roni hills everyday he's home. Combine those hills, with the blurr that is Busentiz, and all the creative obstacles that The City By The Bay has to offer - in there you will find maybe the best actual street skateboarder.

Plus, he has that whole tech package. If you do remember he and Cole had THE Best Battle At The Berrics. I watched it with my own eyes...it was amazing. Cole eventually won, but they were both on their last letter, and when it was over Cole turned to the camera and said, "That guy is good."

  • Busenitz, Ramondetta And A Box

Dennis Busenitz is one of the best all-around street skaters out there right now; he skates fast, stylish and innovative. The San Francisco resident splits his time between skateboarding, being a father and now apparently crafting skate obstacles. Check out this Real video of Booze, Ramondetta and a granite box, which by the way is heavy.
