He began his dream as a professional snowboarder by standing on his sled in his backyard in Pennsylvania, 2 hours away from what he likes to describe as "the smallest hill imaginable". A few years later at the age of 18, straight out of high school, he hit the road to travel west in the hopes of pursuing a career as a professional snowboarder. He had to work for 2 years as a nighttime janitor before securing a sponsor. Eddie has laid it out on the line for snowboarding and his efforts have more than paid off. In the past 3 years, Eddie has received first place at Vans Triple Crown, Slopestyle, first place at the Nixon Jib Fest and Best Trick at the Transworld Team Challenge. He has "take notice" parts in Video Gangs, Nixon's Jibfest video, The Pulse, Mack Dawg Productions, Grenade Films, and Torrey Piro's, The Empire, just to name a few. After all this, his favorite word remains "appreciation." In his down time, Eddie draws and paints which plays into his overall emphasis on style. Eddie also enjoys skateboarding when he is not in the mountain. For now, he is happy to be riding all the time and building on his success. Currently, Eddie resides in Mammoth, CA during the winter season and Mt. Hood, Oregon during the summer months. My Videos |
