She was born in San Francisco. She lived there for a good chunk of her childhood. Eva moved to HB about 10 years ago with her family. At first she was scared to go in the ocean since all she ever knew about it was that it was full of sharks and really cold. It took her a few years to get over that fear and by the time she got to middle school she had started surfing. Eva knew she wanted to pursue a career in surfing but she didn't know if she had enough competitive drive to make it. Luckily right after she finished school she got hooked up with Vans. Since then she's been given the opportunity to surf and travel to a bunch of great places.
