| This Is ProgressThe signing for Matix's new book, This Is Progress, that celebrates the brand's ten years of existence was last night in Hollywood. I didn't go because I didn't want to sit in traffic for two hours, but you know I was at the after-party in Chinatown. It was at this rad place, Ford-Brady, which had a cool vibe, kind of like you were in someone's house, or loft, or something. There was free food, alcohol, and everyone showed up, so it was just good times. Since Matix sponsors skateboarders, surfers and snowboarders, it was nice to see people from all three board worlds come together and party. Free drinks! Things got pretty blurry, which didn't effect me as bad as it usually does for this blog thing, because I had an assistant this time. He's the one who took all the photos of the ladies, I always feel creepy doing that, so it was perfect having him come along. So yeah, I took all the photos, except for the ones of females they were taken by Intern Shawn, aka Tube Sock, aka Shawn Francis. Oh yeah, and that's The Gav and Mike Carroll above. ![]() Jon Rose and his wife showing some love for Matix. ![]() Gabe Kling getting ready for Australia. ![]() If I was writing this for Vice she would for sure be in the Dos. ![]() Chris Casey from the Captain N' Casey Show. ![]() More ladies. ![]() The Lutska and some guy. ![]() And more ladies. ![]() Matix art. ![]() And even more ladies.
