ProfessionBMX | NewsGarrett Reynolds' Fiend BMX Promo Video Wednesday, September 14, 2011 4:54pm 2011 Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro This Weekend Friday, August 5, 2011 2:00pm Garrett Reynold's New Company: Fiend Thursday, August 4, 2011 3:20pm Garrett Reynolds Blows Away Competition in X Games Street Sunday, July 31, 2011 6:50pm 2011 Nike 6.0 BMX Pro (New Format) Tuesday, July 19, 2011 11:32am BiographyGarrett Reynolds is a professional BMX rider that has taken over the BMX scene at 18. His inexplicable natural talent and quick tricks earned him great reputation as an all around rider, destroying anything you throw at him. He throws a lot of things where they don't belong, most notably barspins. You feel like wow he is going to 360 that gap he is crazy, and then he says no I am actually going to barspin during that 360 as well (that is called a truck driver kids). He pretty much makes sure you are always stunned at what he is doing, always on the edge of your seat. He has been dominating the new real street discipline at the X Games recently. He has also had a significant effect on the Dew Tour the past few years. He hit the Dew Tour at age 15! Though he got 21st overall, people noticed him. Good idea since next year at 16 he took seventh overall and people knew who to look for now. Next year he would drop to ninth for the overall season but would get a podium placing third in the process to be in the top 3 for the first time. And in 2008 he would finish fifth overall. Dew Tour is not his only place of high achievement though. Garrett recently took first in the Asian X Games in May of 2009. This is another X medal to add to the medals stacked in his room: he won the 2008 X Games street in LA, and took second to Sean Sexton in the 2008 Mexican X Games. In 2007 they had an X Games event, which Garrett also won in the street department (beating famed shredders such as Aaron Ross and Van Homan). Garrett was an alternate in the 2007 X Games for park (not street) and ended up placing fourth just missing the podium. Keep in mind he beat Mike Spinner and Ryan Nyquist in the process... dude! He won Simpel Session this year (2009) and last year (2008). He definitely earned both of those wins too. Through Garrett's sponsor, Premium Bicycles, he released a signature frame recently named the Deathtrap. It's a pretty rad frame and extremely affordable...
