A former World Cup mogul skier, Henrik has excelled at all aspects of skiing from park to pipe to big mountain. He has been considered a threat in pipe ever since he finished 5th in the SuperPipe at WX '03. He won the prestigious Scandinavian Big Mountain Championships three years in a row (01, '02, '03). He placed 2nd in the slopestyle at the US Open in Vail, CO (2004), which suggests that not only is he a solid all around skier, but he is an exceptional slopestyle skier and a strong contender for the podium at WX '05.
Henrik Windstedt can do it all. He's won big mountain comps, was one of Sweden's top moguls competitors as a junior, and has made big air and superpipe podiums. Henrik has often been called one of the best all-around skiers in the industry. He is qualified for SuperPipe at WX VIII, but his home mountain of Are, SWE has no halfpipe. His track record shows that no pipe is no problem-he took fifth in SuperPipe at his first Winter X in 2003. Henrik skied for his good friend and fellow Swede, Jon Olsson, when Jon was unable to compete in the XGGC SuperPipe. Henrik took 7th.
