The oldest of Hawaiian legend Tony Moniz's boys, Isaiah is making more and more like dad every day. Last year, among other accomplishments, Isaiah walked away with a win at the Kewalo's GromSearch, a win in Boys 10 to 12-year-old longboard division of the Rell Sunn Menehune Surf Contest, as well as a third place finish at the Bragger's Cup on the South Shorea team event in which Isaiah, Joshua, Seth and Tony joined forces to do battle against some of Hawaii's premier surfers. In 2006 Isaiah finished 16th in the Hawaiian Open Boys division, and considering how much of a family affair surfing is for the Moniz clan, the sky's the limit.
