The third annual Frendly Gathering in Windham, Vermont, is less than three weeks away and the anticipation for the event is ramping up.
The three-day grassroots music festival will take place June 14-16 and is the brainchild of the Frends Crew. With over 40 bands and DJ's slated to perform, this year's event is bound to be the biggest to date.
We spoke with Jack Mitrani, a member of the Frends Crew who's spearheading the event, and he gave us five reasons why he thinks you should attend this year's festivities.
Take it away Jack!
1. The Frendly Gathering wouldn't be a Frendly Gathering unless you and your Frends were there... Obviously that's el numero uno.
2.There will be 40 Bands/DJ's, 5 stages, one stage in the trees, a skate ramp, drumming workshops, dance parties, and everything else you could ever imagine to have the best time possible.
3. It's a perfect event and reason to get all of your Frends together in the same place at the same time to enjoy the outdoors, camping, music, yoga, hiking, dancing and whatever else you like to do with your Frends.
4. Ben and Jerry's is giving away free ice cream everyday.
5.Why not? You only live once so come out and have a good time with your Frends!

Third Annual Frendly Gathing
Location: Glebe Mountain Road, Windham, Vermont
Date: June 14-16, 2012
Mark McMorris is getting extreme.
He's in Aspen gearing up for Winter X Games 2012 and recently dropped this awesome edit of him and a few other athletes crushing the slopestyle course at Buttermilk Mountain. Forget the ESPN course previews, Mark's edit takes you straight to the mountain and shows you the behind-the-scenes antics from a rider's perspective. Jack Mitrani and Danny Davis make hilarious cameos as they break down the features on the massive course. From the looks of the tricks stomped in this video, this year's slopestyle competition is guaranteed to be one hell of a show.
X gon' give it to ya.

From shredding to skits and beyond, the Frends have quite a few tricks up their sleeve this season.
