Back in '02 or '03 (I think) I was working at TransWorld when Joey Cobbs strolled into the office, picked up the latest issue of RideBMX, and took a full minute to realize that it was actually him on the cover. It was always cool to see how guys would react to scoring the almighty cover shot for the first time. Fast forward a few years, and Joey's become an amazing photographer while still shredding on the bike, now posting up in the hotbed of the San Francisco Bay Area. He recently teamed up with Jarrod Allen to create Bay St., an online magazine, and they just dropped their first issue. Expect killer photography, embedded video in every issue, and a wide range of subjects and viewpoints. Support these guys; DIY can never die.
