At 14, Jason Carnes was already stoked on freestyle BMX when a guy who raced BMX moved next door to him. His neighbor's dad took him out to the track and he was hooked from then on. His freestyle bike ended up getting stolen and soon after, he bought a Hutch "Hollywood."

Carnes turned pro in 1990 at age 18. Jason Carnes puts the "wild" into Wild Card. He is most well known for his track side antics, running around with a USA flag on his back and causing a ruckus whenever possible. Jason has been racing BMX full throttle for nearly 17 years straight. He raced the ABA/NBL A Pro circuit full-time, he also had a full-time job driving the Redline Bikes team support rig all across the United States.

2008 was a rough year for Jason with injuries left and right. During his recovery, he made an appearance on the MTV show "Made" and coached/mentored a teenage girl who wanted to learn how to race BMX.

He is currently in the Vet Pro/Masters class.
