With so much riding on getting a good start on the 2010 AMA Supercross series, there wasn't much doubt that missing the first round makes it doubly important to maximize your results.

And that's just what BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki's Jason Thomas has done so far. After being forced to miss A1 due to the immediate need to clinch the German Supercross title, Thomas rode strong last week in Phoenix on his way to a 14th in the 450 main event.

    Forced to make it..

OK so this is the kid who last year completely smoked the XC2 class. That is really saying something, because the same guys who are so impressive this year (Kailub Russell, Jason Thomas and Corey Buttrick) were in the class then too. Didn't matter, Duvall smoked them BAD every weekend and even battled with the XC1 guys on occasion. He moved up to the 450 full-time this year. Not sure what happened for him to finish a lap down at the Ironman, but don't worry - this kid has a future so bright he's gotta... well, you know.s
