| Real Snow riders announced for the second annual Winter X games video contestYeah, we can't even begin to think about the next Winter X Games either, however, we're being forced to. The second annual Real Snow all-urban video contest is returning in 2012 and the riders competing have been announced. With some returning snowboarders alongside fresh faces eager to get in on the action, this video contest adds a whole different side to the highly competitive X Games. 2011 marked the first year to include this competition and the first year to acknowledge street riding as part of the games. Along with the Real Snow video contest there is also a Real Snow rail jam held in Aspen and the setup we saw last year was a force to be reckoned with.Eight riders and eight 60-second edits attempting to capture the burliest, most technical, and stylish urban riding around make up this showdown. Returning riders Dan Brisse (who scored gold last year), Louis-Felix Paridis (silver), and Nic Sauve (bronze & Fan Favorite) will join urban riding beasts Halldor Helgason, Jed Anderson, Scott Stevens, Bode Merrill and Pat Moore. Nothing like a heavily stacked roster to get your blood pumping. Photo courtesy of SNOWBOARDER Mag, Huggy Up until Winter X 2012 (January 26-29), this group of rippers will be combing the streets in an attempt to find and drop in to a spot better and gnarlier than the next. Be sure and keep up with these videos as they drop. Until then, check out the contest teaser below: Channels: Snow Jed Anderson full part: Throwaway footy![]() Uh yeah, this is throwaway footage. As in...not actually using it for the full film. Do you have b-roll? Maybe you do...but be honest with yourself, do you have THIS kind of b-roll? It's okay, we're not judging. Jed Anderson filmed all season for VIDEOGRASS' film "Shoot the Moon" and this is what was deemed not worthy. If you're interested in seeing what was worthy be sure and buy "Shoot the Moon", available HERE on iTunes. Channels: Snow Airblaster Family Portrait - Jed Anderson![]() Jed Anderson is the face of the first individual Airblaster family portrait - rightfully so as he has been a part of the family for quite some time, absolutely kills it on a snowboard, and is still the youngest of the group. This video portrait is a glimpse in to the personalities behind the "pros" and allows all of us snowboarding fans to relate on a different level with these riders. Jed gets real about getting over the scene at an early age - a scene that can so easily take over priorities and make people forget about why they started snowboarding in the first place. He talks about getting "back to being a normal human" after snow season, being in a band, and getting stoked on skating. Travis Parker and Jesse Grandkoski also weigh in with outside perspectives on Jed's character, being apart of Airblaster and his outlook on riding. Stay tuned for part 3 featuring Nick Dirks. Bon Voyage World Premiere In Portland Presented By Videograss![]() If you are up in the Portland area, Oregon area, Northwest area, or are just a straight up road warrior....cruise to Videograss' premiere of their new film "Bon Voyage" August 2nd at Livingroom Theatres with an after party at the Beauty Bar. The teaser in itself was worthy enough of extreme stoke factor so the full length film is sure to be a treat for those who can attend. This shred crew is obviously legit and they party at full speed which will probably result in a raging time at the premiere. We vote "yes" on this one. Don't miss it. Videograss Releases Teaser: "Bon Voyage"Our favorite hipster film crew, Videograss, just dropped their newest teaser entitled, "Bon Voyage." No one really questions the fact that the riding in this film is going to be sick. These guys are damn ballsy and their abilities when strapped on to a snowboard are ridiculous. Their abilities when not strapped onto a snowboard? Questionable. Just kidding. Check the list of names below on who is getting some in this teaser. Full of debauchery, nasty falls, and a group of friends just having an awesome season. Who could go wrong with that mix? Enjoy. Words from VG:
