  • Ashbury welcomes back Joe Sexton

Mr. Joe Sexton (or as I refer to him - Sexy Town) is back to donning Ashbury. They put out an edit welcoming back this urban ripper with a few clips of him shredding and giggling like a little school girl. Seems like a good fit to us.

  • People Crew's "Good Look" trailer

The snow season is quickly coming to an end with resorts from East to West coming to a close. It seems too soon. Where did the season go? Did you have time to lock in those tricks you tried all winter? Or did you get enough powder days to satisfy your cravings until next fall? The answer is probably not- the end of season always leaves us longing for more.

Thankfully the dudes at People Crew realize that many are suffering from end-of-season-agony and hope to relieve some pain by releasing the trailer for their 2011 project Good Look.

The video is filmed all around the globe in digital HD and features insane snowboarding from some of the heaviest hitters in the game: Simon Chamberlain, Shaun McKay, Lauri Heiskari, Heikki Sorsa, Aaron Biittner, Torstein Horgmo, and more.

The season may be almost over, but at least this teaser has the energy and hype that makes you feel like you're right back in the thick of it.

  • Winter X Games 15 adds "Real Snow" video event

    ESPN.com illustration

Eight riders. Eight videos. One X Games gold medal and $50,000 to give away. Winter X Games 2011 is going urban.

After the first video-only contest, "Real Street" debuted at the 2010 Summer X Games and was a huge hit; ESPN decided to make the move and debut the "Real" series again at WX15 - resulting in the birth of "Real Snow". Eight pros will put together a 60-second video part filmed exclusively on urban terrain. The videos will then be judged by a panel of industry pros who will make the call on who wins the $50,000 and the X Games chunk of gold that you can drape around your neck. The medalists will be announced in Aspen after the eight riders throw down in the Snowboard Street jam session.

All the video entrees will be shown as part of the WX15 telecast on January 29th but will drop on ESPN on January 12 where you'll be able to vote for the "Fan Favorite" who will take home five grand.

Time to find out who these eight video phenoms are:

    Dan Brisse
    Simon Chamberlain
    Seth Huot
    Jeremy Jones
    Louis-Felix Paradis
    Nic Suave
    Joe Sexton

  • America's Next Top Pro Model 2011

"The ANTPM pays homage to riders like Jeff Brushie, Peter Line, Noah Salasnek, and the almighty Terje Haakonsen, whose timeless topsheets and bad-ass base graphics still resonate within snowboarding's modern collective. Our objective with this event is to rejuvenate the stoke that comes with both watching them ride and buckling in to their boards.

This past July, SNOWBOARDER invited over a dozen current pros with self-endorsed sticks to High Cascade Snowboard Camp to battle it out in six different disciplines in order to determine which rider is strapping in atop the best pro model on the market.

MFM, Bryan Fox, Chris Bradshaw, Kyle Clancy, Austin Smith, Joe Sexton, Lauri Heiskari, Keegan Valaika, Chris Grenier, Iikka Backstrom, Lucas Magoon, Lane Knaack, Derek Dennison, Heikki Sorsa, Aaron Biittner, and Jesse Burtner made the trek to Timberline to try their hand at the title, and they surely didn't disappoint."
