  • New Mutiny Bikes Website

I'm going to have to give Mutiny a fair ego stroke right here because they've been pushing their image and the entire image of BMX since day one and almost every time they drop something new I think the BMX world changes a tiny bit. They put a more professional effort into their image and expanded the world of BMX media and the look of BMX websites and such. Joe Simon and Gaz Sanders built Mutiny up more and more 5 years ago and have reached a definite bar in BMX. So check out their new website and web videos and appreciate the effort that goes into all...

  • Empire Ramp Jam Video

On March 27th a little event went down at the newly built Empire ramp. The miniramp turned into a bowl with hips and huge extensions and tight corners. Good times. Tom Dugan and Chase Hawk battle it out for style/height supremacy. Thanks to Ryan Navazio for filming and Devon Hutchins for editing this flick.

PS: Dakota Roche is no longer human. He's devolved to that point in between monkeys and humans...

Also, Sunday/Odyssey have moved their operations to Austin, CULT spent some time in Austin, Tom Dugan and friends are blowing up the Austin scene that's already popular via Aaron Ross, Chase Hawk, Sean Sexton, and i believe adam22 and friends are in or were in Austin... This place is the next Greenville. Or more roots version of it in a way... Should I move?

  • Behind Mutiny Bikes

Mutiny Bikes was at a low and definitely needed a boost. That boost came in the form of Joe Simon and Gaz Sanders, who bought the company and built it basically from the ground up since it was so "dead" at the time. Now, Mutiny produces arguably the best BMX videos, great products, and a stacked team of dedicated riders.

ESPN has the fat, long version of their story HERE.

  • Mutiny Bikes "The Lost Mystical"

Need inspiration to purchase Mutiny's latest "Let's Get Mystical"? This video is like a B-Roll of the DVD...

The internet blew up with questions about Stevie Churchill (sp?) and this video from the Haven skatepark delivers... Stevie isn't the only amazing rider in this video as well.

Mutiny Bikes is working on their latest team video, LET'S GET MYSTICAL. I love their company image and they like to do things differently, change it up, rock the boat, instead of doing the same damn thing like (insert company name and get me in trouble here).

this video is no exception. Joe Simon is sort of directing the whole thing, if BMX movies call that direction. Basically he's putting it all together with his ideas, which is amazing. Every shot feels like there was over a minute planned into it. This isn't a 'you stand here, im gonna ride this, press the red button twice, and were done' type of film. I warn you folks... you might thoroughly ENJOY watching this. Like movie status. Like when it's done you'll have to get up and stretch and reflect for a minute.
