The young Garden State stand out has been turning heads on the Right Coast for years residing in Somers Point, New Jersey but taking his act to every pro event on offer. With a strong amateur career in NSSA and ESA John has progressed to embody the Rip Curl way and truly "live the Search".

With a strong focus on the East Coast and the Caribbean you can find him pulling in to the hollow sand banks along the Jersey Shore or Searching the Islands of the Caribbean for an empty slab. John's plans for this year are to focus on select Pro events and make sure to shoot with Jersey photo Seth Stafford.

John was recently in California for the Shop Challenge and rumor has it heads were being turned at the smooth light footed regular footers approach to the soft peaks of Huntington Beach.

With strong support from Heritage Surf Shop and Rip Curl, it will be tough to hold Barrie back as he brings new life to the Right Coast Search.
