What defines your best day of snowboarding?

For pro surfer Ian Walsh it's shredding the steep and deep in Alaska with snowboard legends Travis Rice and the Jackson brothers. In the second episode of Brothers on the Run, Walsh gets his first taste of 'pro Alaskan lines' as he experiences AK from the Jackson brothers and Rice's perspective.

The epic crew is blessed with bluebird skies and pristine pow lines as they close out their Alaskan adventures before road-tripping to the next shred destination on their 15,000 mile journey to Chile. Between Walsh having his 'best day ever,' John Jackson's sending lines despite doctor's orders, and Travis Rice's powder prowess, this episode of Brothers on the Run is a must-see.

John and Eric Jackson, in conjunction with Red Bull Media, recently released the first episode of "Brothers on the Run." This web series chronicles the adventures and misadventures of the pro snowboarders as they embark on a 15,000-mile road trip from Alaska to Chile. The brothers are among the world's best backcountry riders, ensuring that this series will be chock full of breathtaking big mountain bangers.

The first episode explores the plans leading up to the adventure. After a burly crash in Alaska, John learns he's fractured two ribs and part of his spine before the trip even begins. After receiving reassuring news from his neurological spine surgeon, John is given the go-ahead and joins Eric to embark on their journey. Once the brothers land in Alaska, they meet with Travis Rice and kick off the adventure with a slew of Alaskan fun-- shooting guns, fishing in freezing waters, and of course, shredding steep peaks.

Upon the release of the first episode, Eric Jackson posted this picture from the excursion and said, "You know when you have a day where everything goes right and nothing could bring you down? Well, today was one of those days! @Johnnjamun high on life in #Alaska #BrothersontheRun.

Have you ever wanted to ride on the back of Terje Haakonsen or John Jackson as they embark on one of the biggest big mountain lines you've ever witnessed? Yes, we're aware of how creepy that might be but with the abundance of point-of-view edits, that's what it feels like to watch.

Red Bull and Travis Rice's Supernatural event took place in British Columbia in early February of this year and it's fair to say that it blew minds. For the event, the world's best freeride snowboarders gathered before a playground of features on the steep slopes at Baldface Lodge.

Among the riders were none other than legend Terje Haakonsen and one of the modern day heroes of shredding, John Jackson. Magical, isn't it? Terje, who paved the way for the future of snowboarding riding alongside John J, who is smashing the boundaries of what can be done in the sport. We can't make this stuff up.

Competitors were given one freeride day during the event, and the majority of them grabbed whatever POV camera they had, strapping it to their helmets, and shouting, "dropping!" almost immediately. Thank the heavens for that, because now we can ride their backs through the ambitious terrain of Baldface. Everyone wants John Jackson to be their friend. Forget about the fact that he is one of the most bad ass riders out there. His style, his attitude, and well, the dreads solely bring him to another level. On top of that, he slays the backcountry like nobody's business, is the first snowboarder ever to score "Video Part of the Year" twice, and claimed "Rider of the Year" two years in a row.

BURLINGTON, VT (September 30, 2011) As the grand finale to Burton's annual fall meeting today, the company announced that pro snowboarder John Jackson will now ride for Burton, representing both hardgoods and softgoods. Burton employees, team riders and industry guests were the first to hear the news, breaking out in cheers and applause all around as John joined his fellow Burton pro riders on stage.

John is widely recognized as one of the most dynamic riders in the world and makes it look easy to dominate backcountry terrain. At this year's TransWorld Riders' Poll Awards, John became the first snowboarder in history to win 'Video Part of the Year' twice. And he didn't stop there. John also took home his second consecutive 'Rider of the Year' award. This year, John continues to blow minds with his part in the highly acclaimed movie, Art of Flight.

Now that he's riding for Burton, John will keep doing what he does best - snowboard and film video parts. Like all Burton team riders, John will also now play an instrumental role in developing and testing Burton product, including Burton's [ak] outerwear line, Custom series snowboards, SLX boots and Diode EST bindings.

"It's rad to be a part of such an insane company and team who've paved the way in snowboarding since the beginning," said John Jackson. "I can't wait for the snow to fly to test out some new gear and let 'er rip. It's an honor."

This is the one we've all been waiting for. The most enticing teaser for the most epic shred film to date has just hit the internet, and it's absolutely incredible.
