New friends lead the way. We find ourselves spending two days in Santiago in a Buddhist temple recuperating from the past weeks action. From here we take advice from the local snowboarders to direct our path towards Chillan, a volcano located on the coastal mountain range midway down the vast expanse of Chile's slender profile. We settle to leave at 5:30 am.
Of course that did not happen. We leave at 11:30, on another 5-hour road trip down Chile's earth-quaked 5.
SNOWBOARDER Magazine's 'Crewzin', back for it's second season, gives you a behind the scenes look at how some of the top film crews in the game get work done. In this first episode of the year we follow GIVIN while filming in Minnesota for their upcoming movie, "ONE". Keegan Valaika, Jonas Michilot, and Forest Bailey session a water tower while Aaron Hooper shoots the video and Burton photographer, Blotto, covers the stills. In their first year, GIVIN is the creation of Keegan Valaika, his Gnarly Clothing crew, and cinematographer Aaron Hooper. A film company focused on real riding and the raw scene which surrounds it. Keep your eye out for more edits from these guys.

If you are up in the Portland area, Oregon area, Northwest area, or are just a straight up road warrior....cruise to Videograss' premiere of their new film "Bon Voyage" August 2nd at Livingroom Theatres with an after party at the Beauty Bar.
The teaser in itself was worthy enough of extreme stoke factor so the full length film is sure to be a treat for those who can attend. This shred crew is obviously legit and they party at full speed which will probably result in a raging time at the premiere. We vote "yes" on this one. Don't miss it.

Our favorite hipster film crew, Videograss, just dropped their newest teaser entitled, "Bon Voyage." No one really questions the fact that the riding in this film is going to be sick. These guys are damn ballsy and their abilities when strapped on to a snowboard are ridiculous. Their abilities when not strapped onto a snowboard? Questionable. Just kidding. Check the list of names below on who is getting some in this teaser.
Full of debauchery, nasty falls, and a group of friends just having an awesome season. Who could go wrong with that mix?
