Josh is a dark person. He loves metal, has a skull collection, makes some disturbing art and oh yes he rips. One of the best surfers to come out of Newport Beach, Hoyer is well-known for his above the lip surfing. That's not to say he can't all-around surf either, but don't call him a surfer. He doesn't like the whole "surfer dude" or "bro" image, he doesn't even like the beach (isn't a big fan of sand), he surfs because it's his job and he's good at it.
