Sleigh Close To 10K

Check out these kickflip attempts by Josh Sleigh, who has his sight set on the 10 grand Volcom has put up in the Kickflip-Off. Remember, it has to be an above-the-lip air, which means no chop hops, and it has to be stuck and ridden away. So far, from the footage I've seen Josh and Ozzie Wright are pretty damn close to pulling one.

Josh Sleigh is one of the most diverse athlete's in surfing today. Currently living in Oceanside, this co-founder of MOBgroup is launching a full scale assult on the west coast in 2007 with his Grinch Mobile Tour, which consists of pro wakeboarders and pro surfers using a gas powered winch to tow them into all sorts of water filled environments. Josh Sleigh is know well throughout the surfing community for more then just Grinching. His past achievements include: Placing in the Top 5 in the VANS SMAS Airshows (1998-2003), AMA Celebrity Motocross Race in Glen Helen in 2005, 3rd Place at the 2006 World Wakesurfing Championships, Josh's father, Randy "One Horse Open" Sleigh (a well-known, well respected shaper from Hawaii) is credited with helping Matt Biolis (Lost Surfboards) and Timmy Patterson ( T.
