  • JP Solberg's Norwegian boat trip

When you're JP Solberg, you can line up any trip your little heart desires, especially when filming for YES's new production, "It's a Movie."

This spring, Solberg and members of the YES crew suited up and set out on a ferry along the frozen fjords of Norway.

They found hidden pockets of powder and shredded lines down some of the most gorgeous landscapes in the world.

Wow. Wouldn't that be nice? Forget the lifts, forget a gondola- how about taking a boat to secret shred spots in Norway? Yes, it happened and yes, we're jealous.

This is just another taste of all the action and adventure that will be unraveling in YES. It's a Movie.

Our thoughts go out to everyone in Norway following the recent terror attacks in Olso.

  • Lifestyle Project Presents: Powder Passage

The teaser train continues to roll on and this time it's dropping off a load of powder for your viewing pleasure.

Lifestyle Project presents the first look at Powder Passage and it's full of steep and deep snowy goodness.

The Japanese shred crew of Tadashi Fuse, T. Konishi, and Akifumi Hiraoka head to Whistler for some early season pow turns. Then return to their homeland and link up with the YES crew including JP Solberg and Romain de Marchi.

Together, the rippers get down on some serious pow slashing. From sending it off steep cliffs and spinning into feet of fresh- it doesn't get any more perfect than this. Full film dropping in September.

  • "Yes. It's a Movie" teaser and hell yes. It looks good.

What would you rather me do? Just ignore the excess of teasers lying around? Pretend they're not there? Throw them away like garbage? I wish, guys, I wish. It's a dirty job but someone has got to bombard you with massive amounts of snowboard movie trailers and one of those people happens to be me.

YES Snowboards has been dropping edits now and again previewing what their 2011-12 video is all about and now we've got the full teaser. Try and restrain yourself.

"YES. It's a Movie" is indeed the title and YES, it looks damn good. Heaps of glorious mountain tops and soft powdery lines - this movie is bringing back the heart and soul of snowboarding.

The passion and natural talent that are a part of this project have seen it all -- the world, the drama, the success, the lack of success -- and are consistently trying to bring snowboarding back to the simplicity that it was based upon.

YES, I think you should watch this trailer.

Featuring the riding of: JP Solberg, Romain De Marchi, DCP, Tadashi Fuse, Benji Ritchie, Mikey Pederson, Stian Solberg, Chris Coulter, Wyatt Caldwell, Helen Schettini, and Frank April.

  • YES Snowboards in Russia: Part 2

Kamchatka. Say it five times fast and spin around in a circle and see what happens.

It's in Russia. You might want to get a coat. It's pretty cold. This is where the YES crew spent some of their time this winter filming, exploring, and relaxing. In the second edit of their trip, JP Solberg, Romain de Marchi, and DCP get some seriously epic lines, send it in the backcountry, experience zero gravity, track a bear, jib with some sea lions, and get some hot tubbing in. All things that are necessary on a snowboarding trip abroad.

Experience Russia with the boys below.
