Once known as a top threat (with a WX 2001 silver medal), Ipsen has returned better than ever after sitting out the entire '01/'02 season with a career-threatening knee injury. He had three WSA National podiums in '02/'03 and began '03/'04 with a bang -- he captured his 2nd career National win by taking Stock at Duluth and added a second-place in Open.
