Kristi Leskinen is one of the most well-known freeskiers in the world. Kristi, along with Sarah Burke, was at the forefront of the women's freeskiing movement at its inception. The two of them pushed the boundaries of women's skiing while giving inspiration to young female skiers all over the world, many of whom have gone on to become professional skiers themselves, and regularly list Kristi as an influence.
Kristi was and continues to be one of the most competitive female freeskiers in the history of the sport, having podiumed at X Games, US Freeskiing Open, World Skiing Invitational Nippon Open and countless other events.
Over the last few years, Kristi has helped bring massive exposure to the sport of freeskiing by crossing over to mainstream media by appearing in FHM Magazine, a television advertisement for General Hospital and most recently, on ABC's reality TV show, "The Superstars."
