Laura has set herself up well to compete in Slopestyle at her first Winter X. With a part in the Misschief Films' movie quot;As If,quot; which premiered in September 2005, a victory at the Hot Dawgs and Handrails contest at Bear Mountain, CA, the same month, and 2nd at the Honda Sessions in January ('05), the Aspen, CO, native is sure to impress with fearless rail skills. In December 2004, she raised $4,000 at fellow Winter X rider Marc Frank Montoya's The Block at Tahoe and ISOP (Infantile Scoliosis Outreach Program) Rail Jam fundraiser by winning the women's contest with a 50-50 on the flat-down bar bolted to the top of a conversion van.
