In '05 she finished first in the rail jams at the Vans Cup, US Open, Queen of the Mountain, and Gravity Games, ended up second in rail and tied for third in slopestyle at the Nikita Chickita Snowdown, and took second place in slope at the US Open. She moved easily from a Rookie of the Year award at the '04 TransWorld Snowboarding Rider's Poll to the Female Rider of the Year and Reader's Choice at the '05 event, and was also named Snowboarder Magazine's 2006 Rider of the Year. Leanne is known for her stylie 270 combos on the rails, and her Cab and frontside 720s in the air.Newly arrived on the professional scene in 2004, Leanne Pelosi is the most feared competitor in snowboarding rail competitions today. She took top honors in no less than 6 Rail events in 2004. It is obvious that this director of MGT snowboard camps does more than sit behind a desk at camp. She is the 2004 Transworld Rookie of the Year. In January '05 Leanne took top honors in the Slopestyle competition at the Mt.
