Look for her to continue shredding the U.S. Snowboarding pipeline. Beerman had a great rookie season in 2008 that kicked into high gear, showing the competition what it's going to be up against in the near future, when she made X Games finals and finishing sixth in a field of international superstars. Topping it all off, she pulled in a second at the Vans Cup, adding to her soon-to-be powerhouse reputation. Lizzy made the move to Stratton from the Buffalo, NY, snow belt in the first grade and picked up a shred sled almost immediately. Sources say her first board was a K2 110. By 16, she had topped multiple national competitions, including two Chevrolet Revolution Tour wins in '07 and earned a spot on U.S. Snowboarding's 2008 Rookie Team.
