  • Bjorn Leines & Lucas Debari shred Shandy Land

Pillow lines galore. You could unstrap and take a nice little nap in this garden of fluffy powder featured in Rome's latest edit following Bjorn Leines and Lucas Debari in BC, Canada.

It's apparent that the journey of filming "The Shred Remains" was as eventful as it was enjoyable. Bjorn and Lucas are surrounded by mounds of freshies in the latest inside look at what went down during their season of filming.

Winter wonderland doesn't do this justice; seems like you just had to be there. Watch their footage below and brace yourself for some extreme jealousy.

  • TGR and Jeremy Jones go even "Further"

Brace yourselves for even more cracked-out and committed film from Teton Gravity Research and the mad-man himself, Jeremy Jones. After releasing the monumental film, "Deeper" last year that changed how so many in the snow industry, hell, in any industry viewed big mountain riding. The boundaries that were broken, the determination, and amount of work put into it seemed insurmountable. Guess it only makes sense that the same fearless group of people would be the ones to turn this insane project into a trilogy.

"Further" is the second installment of this ambitious project and presents even more first descents, matchless terrain, and unparalleled experiences that ultimately have impacted not only Jones but the entire group involved for good. Terje Haakonsen, Xavier De Le Rue, DCP, Nicolas Müller, Lucas Debari, Josh Dirksen, Forrest Shearer, and Ryland Bell are the passionate and talented riders in this film so in simply knowing that, one can only imagine what will make up this film.

Trailer below, hold on to your butts.

  • Session 6 at Windells: Rome Team invades Mt. Hood

Holy Guacamole. Session 6 at Windells is over and out which means there's only one session of camp left this summer.

    Shenanigans right?

Summer flew by this year, partly because of all the fun in the sun everyone was having up at Mount Hood. Session 6 looked to be one of the best weeks of camp to date with the Rome Team stomping through and staking their claim.

Big shots such as Bjorn Leines, Johnny Lazzareschi, Lucas Debari, and Marie Hucal, spent the week slaying the park and getting jibtastic on the plethora of rails.

Session 6 was a hard-rocking, rip-roaring, rager on the glacier.

    Check the fun, son.

    Words: Windells
Windells Session 6 was sunny. Every day. As everyone's levels of vitamin D
increased with the perfect weather, so did the smiles, high-fives, and appetite for
summer shredding. The end of summer couldn't be better; there's so much snow
that we're still riding all the way down the mountain and the Windells park is out
of hand. It's got the feel of a good skatepark, with various ways to hit everything,
lending to some impressively creative shredding. There are tranny finders and tube
lines, running both across and down hill, the jump line is lapable, and there's now a
quarterpipe at the end of the park. Thank you, Diggers!

Even though summer is coming to an end, there's no shortage of radical summer
snowboard vibes at Windells. Here are some of the highlights from Session 6:

    1. It was Rome Week at camp and the SDS brought the Summer of Shred '11
to camp. Bjorn Leines, Johnny Lazzareschi, Lucas Debari, Marie Hucal, and the
AmArmy shredded both on hill and on campus. Ever wanted to learn how to do a
back 180 with help from a legendary 'boarder? Bjorn Leines was on hand teaching
campers the finer points of spinning their snowboards. Epic.

    2. Johnny Lazz was back on campus, megaphone in hand, and all was right at Mount
Hood. Even though Lazz may not necessarily need a megaphone to blast his familiar
laugh through Mount Hood National Forest, camp is always better when he's mic'd
up. Lazz and Lucas held a Rome knockout game, showing off their own basketball
skills, while trying to knock out campers.

    3. The Flow Team was at camp, too, including Tim Humphreys, Brandon Reis, Nial
Romanek, Shane Fortier, Sarka Pancochova, and the Flow Microns. The Microns
rode in a swarm around the park, a line of short rippers hitting everything in front
of them. Flow gave campers a leak of their new team movie, showing not only the
teaser, but also some extra footage and bail shots direct from Tim Humphrey's
private clip stash. Tim also showed his newest GoPro edit, before anyone else got to
    see it.

    4. Dylan Thompson and Jonah Owen held an ultimate tube session up on hill.
Rumored tricks that went down include a back three on back five off, and cab five on
back three off...maybe even back five off. Video footage to be out soon.

    5. The Rome Team hosted the most rock 'n roll Thrasher Night of the summer, you
could practically hear the air guitar solos. Then, they put on face paint for Zombie
Dodgeball and then, Bjorn hosted the most extreme egg/spoon race ever seen
at summer camp, with tons of obstacles and prizes. The week was packed with
    hilariously fun activities!

There's one session left and the Technine Team will be at camp, so check for lots of
updates at www.windells.com and start planning for next summer to come hang out with us!

  • Rome drops "The Shred Remains" teaser

Rome has never really given a shit about what the public thought of what they were doing -- kind of like honey badgers. This was a very good look for them. Most notoriously known for their stacked team of burly jibbers - we've all come to find out that they can pretty much do everything, stomp everything, charge everything. They also make it obvious that they make an effort to have a damn good time as well.

After their first two video releases, "Any Means" and "No Correct Way" dropped into the world, they had our attention. They'll do whatever it takes without worrying about the consequences. Rome's latest project, "The Shred Remains" has had our interest since they started the video blog following their progress and experiences through the making of the movie.

The official teaser has finally arrived and moved quickly to the top of the list of 2011 teasers. Featuring LNP, MFR, Lucas Debari, Bjorn Leines, Stale Sandbech, Rusty Ockenden, Johnny Lazz, Will Lavigne, Marie Hucal, and the AM Army, we'd have to say that they are pretty much unstoppable.

  • Cyber with the Rome Snowboards team

If you want to sit down and have a cozy living room sofa chat with the Rome team then I suggest you peep these two videos posted on Buoloco. Ed Segovia cybers with the whole crew - LNP, Eiki Helgason, Lucas Debari, MFR, Johnny Lazz, Johnnie Paxson, and Stale Sandbech - and asks them the questions we all want to know the answers to.

The Rome team usually comes off a little bit mad...like they are all slowly going a bit nuts but killing it on snowboards at the same time...if that makes any sense. However, in these videos the group is all together cuddled up on the couch ready to share all the details about "agents, products, sponsors, mainstream, snowboard machines, pressure, shredding, shredders, etc."

They obviously are a tight knit group and have an awesome straight-up perspective on what is going on in snowboarding today. We also get to find out once and for all what they prefer; regular camber or reverse camber.

Oh, and Laurent's beard is longer than ever.
