Luke's success started early when he won the World Juniors title in 2000. After surfing three years on the WQS including numerous final placings and a win at the 06 Sri Lankan Airlines Maldives Pro, Luke continues his success by bringing his talent to the prestigious World Championship Tour.

Luke was born and raised in Currumbin, QLD Australia where he still resides. As a natural (regular) footer growing up surfing Currumbin Alley, Luke has developed one of the most polished and powerful styles around. His use of speed and fluid maneuvers will make him a force to be reckoned with on tour.

"I've always been a fan of Luke's surfing and combined with his personality he will be a great representation for West," said Paul Manners, West's International Marketing Manager. Luke is starting off 2007 with a fresh outlook on his surfing career and new supportive sponsors.
