| AboutAs the owner of Trinity Board Shop in Charlotte, NC and a full time student, it's a wonder that Maeghan finds time to compete in wakeboarding, much less be one of the top women in the world. She finished out the 2004 season ranked 3rd on the Pro Tour and WSM World Cup rankings. 2005 started off slow for Meaghan, but the 1999 X Games gold medalist is hoping her consistency and style will land her back on the podium at X. Maeghan burst onto the pro scene in 1999, winning gold at her first X Games at age 15. Now at 20, Maeghan is balancing her wakeboard career with college and running her own shop, Trinity Board Shop in Charlotte, NC. During 2003, she perpetually placed in the top three at pro events, missing the poduim only three times out of 8 contests. Maeghan Major won her second consecutive World Championship title (October 2000) in only her second season as a pro. That win secured the Vans Triple Crown title as well. Maeghan has medaled in both X Games events she has competed in. |
