    The 1999 WX Snowboarder X gold medalist focused on halfpipe from 2001 to 2004. In 1998, she placed 5th at the Olympics in halfpipe. In 2004, she got back on the boardercross track, making two FIS World Cup podiums in September (2nd place Valle Nevado, CHI). With her Canadian Olympic invite in hand for both Snowboard Cross and Halfpipe, Maelle is once again focused on both disciplines.
