At the 2003 X Games, after an Earth shaking warm up, Marco took 11th place, narrowly missing the top ten. He was devastated, but he went on to take the silver medal at the Gravity Games and finished 2003 ranked 2nd in the ASA. At the 2004 Latin X Games, he went down on a double backflip in his Park run and tore his right PCL. He has been diligently working to rehabilitate his injury before X Games X.
