| Daniel Dhers Announces 58 Bike ShopDaniel Dhers has had a stellar career in BMX thus far and, maybe following the footsteps of legendary riders he probably looks up to, has dipped the proverbial toe into the industry side of the sport that has given him so much. We've seen Mat Hoffman (BMX's "deity") build a company from the ground up, as well as Dave Mirra and a large majority of BMX companies are "rider owned". It's how the industry works. To accomplish this, however, Dhers had to let go of his sponsor Albe's. He thanks them for their support through the beginning years of his career. To ride for 58, Dhers has already recruited another stellar contest rider, Mark Webb. We know everybody on the tour is friends but I don't know who saw Webb riding for Dhers coming... Not me... Two of BMX's biggest names currently and this start-up is already on its way wouldn't you say? Check out 58 Bike Shop's website and view some recent Daniel Dhers "training" footage. I do hope they invest into a professional web developer in the future, however. Normally a website that looks like this gets "skipped" in my book. Channels: Bike Mark Webb in the Ghetto ShedRoss Penny met up with Webbie to film a quick edit before Mark came over to the states for the contest season. However, Mark Webb and the Ghetto Shed don't make for quick little edits. This is a typical banger of a video from a park rat in a park rat's dream setup. Channels: Bike Mark Webb Rides StreetDefinitely interesting to see notorious park rats in the streets. No helmet, no skatelite, no problem. Mark hits some massive rails, gets tech with it, and boosts a Bone Deth gap. Are all park rats this street capable? Channels: Bike Relentless Energy Drink "Virtues" Video and Contest with Mark WebbHere's a commercial from Relentless Energy featuring Mark Webb and some amazing effects. Also watch the behind-the-scenes video below on how they created it. They are holding a contest on their facebook and the winner is flown to Las Vegas to see Brazilian MMA athlete Roger Gracie fight at the MGM Grand. Go to facebook.com/relentlessenergy and click on the flyer to enter! Channels: Bike Mark Webb in the Ghetto ShedMark Webb. One of the most progressive riders in the history of BMX. I don't think anyone can beat him at a game of BIKE in a skatepark. You'd have to get annoyingly creative because your best trick on a box jump is a warm up for Webbie... Channels: Bike |
