About
Once the sport's best Semi-Pro racer, Matt struggled in '03/'04, his first Pro season and only made a handful of finals. However, he began '04/'05 riding with much more confidence and has caught the attention of many. Looking to make the semifinals for the first time at WX in 2005.
Now pro after years in the semi-pro ranks, Matt and his crew have found the adjustment difficult so far. While he did make the final at three of the first six WSA Nationals, he didn't finish better than 12th in any of them.
One of just a few semi-pro racers to make the WX 2002 field, Matt qualified for WX by taking 5th at the WSA Duluth qualifier, his hometown race. Captured both national semi-pro classes in 2001.
