A Squaw Valley local, Michelle just finished third at the US Open slopestyle in Vail, CO (Jan. 2006). Michelle is currently taking a year off between high school and college to concentrate on skiing. She traveled to South America to ski this past summer (2005), and she has been featured twice in Freeskier magazine's quot;Best Women in Skiing.quot;
