Mike Vallely is a professional skateboarder that sought out to do a lot for the sport. At first it was just skating, and filming for videos and doing the whole get coverage whatever thing. That didn't satisfy his thirst for skating, however.

On fuelTV, he hosted a show called DRIVE that involved him driving around to random places and skating with the locals and such. Giving out products to locals. Skating for the kids. Taking part in their local culture, etc.

He has been in Tony Hawk's popular video games. He has signature decks and such with Element Skateboards. He sings in a couple bands, more notably Revolution Mother, and played with Black Flag in a reunion tour.He is a proud husband and father of two girls. He is an Anaheim Ducks fan and plays ice hockey himself.

He has done a lot with his sponsors, traveling around the globe, doing demos and signings at shops, promoting the sport beyond the norm and creating signature products representing his image of skateboarding.
