  • About

Natasza is a snowboarding legend. She has been a pro rider for over over 8 years, a two-time Olympian ('98, '02) and a 3-time WX SuperPipe medalist: 2 bronze (WX'00,'02) and 1 silver (WX'01) and through it all she has continued to stay at the top of the women's field. WX '06 will be Natasza's 7th WX appearance and she is coming off of a bronze medal Slopestyle finish at WX '05. She is widely considered one of the most stylish and progressive women's riders and though most of her previous accomplishments are in superpipe, she has recently turned her skills to slopestyle steadily improving her rail and jump skills.
Standing only 5'2" this quiet Canadian WX and Olympic veteran is one of the most stylish and well-rounded riders in women's snowboarding today. Natasza has two U.S. Open Halfpipe Championship titles to her name ('00, '01) and owns three WX SuperPipe medals, 2 bronze (WX'00,'02) and 1 silver (WX'01). Although the majority of her previous accomplishments lie in the SuperPipe department Natasza has been focusing her efforts on Slopestyle since '03 and it has paid off. Her rail skills have improved dramatically and she placed higher in Slopestyle at WX'04 (8th) than in SuperPipe (17th).
This fearless Canadian and two time halfpipe Olympian landed on the podium at 7 out of 11 halfpipe events in 2003. She's not too shabby when it comes to slope or big air, either. Natasza took the top of the podium at the London Board X Big Air (11/03) and 2nd place at the Vans Triple Crown Slopestyle (3/03). For WX'04, Nat will be weighing out her skills in both the Slopestyle and SuperPipe venues.
The WX V SuperPipe silver medalist is a quiet but fierce competitor. She can blast overhead McTwists, 720's, and maintain amplitude and technical savvy during her runs. She will be representing Canada in the Olympics.
