Nick Rozsa is from Oxnard and is lighting up the surf wherever and whenever he surfs. He has got game and skills to boot. He’s an electric surfer who is exciting to watch and his usual mode to surfing is straight up pedal to the metal.

Nick was born in the San Fernando Valley raised in Oregon, moved to Maui when he was five where his dad taught him how to surf, then finally settled in Oxnard growing up under the wings of many talented surfers.

His amateur results have been pretty stellar, with the year of 2004 being his. He was I.S.A. American Surfing Champion at the Huntington event for the eighteen and under division. He also won the Explorer Men's and Juniors divisions at the 2004 Western NSSA Championships, and the Explorer division for men back in 2003. More recently in 2006 it was a banner year where he made 5 Junior Pro Finals and qualified for the Amateur World Titles held at Manly, Beach Australia. He was also voted in Transworld as the Top Fiteen to Watch.

For 2007 he has been been hitting the WQS schedule hard. He is adjusting to the added pressure and the cut throat mentality of the Pro Tour and it won't be long until he pulls down a couple victories and moves up the ASP competitive ladder.
