    Kelly Slater's 11th world surfing title on hold as tour admits error

    Despite the hype and celebration Wednesday afternoon, Kelly Slater did not clinch his 11th world surfing title with a third-round triumph during the Rip Curl Pro Search in San Francisco, but he can do so with a heat victory in the fourth round when the contest resumes.

    Australia's Owen Wright still has a very slim chance of overtaking Slater.

    The Assn. of Surfing Professionals, in a monumentally embarrassing screw-up, incorrectly figured the mathematics before stating..

    On the verge of number eleven, it's Ke11y Slater now...

    hey Owen how big is the usal board you ride?
    im pritty tall and i dont know how big my board should be im about 6'2 and i ride a 6'4 is that good? iv been surfing for about 5 years
