He is a 5-time Pro Tour champion ('96, '98, '01, '03 and '04) and the Wake Boarding Magazine rider of the year for two years running ('03, '04).Two-time X Games champion (''96 &'99) Parks Bonifay is known for his arsenal of technical tricks that other riders only dream about, like his signature double back full twist. He is also the only rider to sucessfully complete a 1080. At the end of the '03 season he was crowned Pro Tour champion. He has one goal for X Games '04: to beat Danny Harf.Parks took home the first ever Wakeboarding gold medal in 1996 and has been at the forefront of wakeboarding since he took up the sport in 1994 at the tender age of 12. He is often called the "wonder boy" and rightly so since he is in the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest water skier ever at 6 months 29 days.
