  • Ryan Decenzo wins the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas

Ryan Decenzo won the Dew Tour Championships in Las Vegas to earn his first ever overall Dew Cup. One event after earning his first major contest victory Decenzo made it two in a row.

Decenzo came into the Dew Tour Championships ranked first overall and a win in Vegas guaranteed him the Dew Cup. His nollie backside heelflip down the stairs was just one in a list of solid tricks that earned him the win and the Dew Cup. He finished with a score of 90.28.

"The first time I ever competed on the Dew Tour it was obviously a dream and a goal to make it to this point, and I did, so I'm super proud of myself," Ryan said.

Last year's Gatorade Free Flow Tour winner Alec Majerus advanced to the final jam. With a frontside feeble on the rail, frontside noseblunt slide and smooth style, it earned him his first Dew Tour podium with a score of 85.13 and a second-place-finish. The 16-year-old from Minnesota has made it into every final this season.

Greg Lutzka's 270 to switch front blunt and a frontside flip to flat, was enough to finish third with 84.25

  • T&C Surf Designs: 40th Anniversary

T&C Surf Designs turned 40 and the boys from Plan B went to Hawaii to celebrate, skate, and cause a little bit of trouble. The boys included: P. Rod, Ryan Sheckler, PJ Ladd, Torey Pudwill, Pat Duffy, Colin McKay, Danny Way and even funny man Nick Swardson was in the mix.

In between skate demos and signings they found time for rock jumps into salt water pools, 3 wheeled scooter races, karaoke, and taking in all that beauty, that is Oahu.

Check out video below of all the shenanigans.

  • Sean Malto wins the 2011 Street League Championship

In exciting fashion Sean Malto beat Nyjah Huston and the rest of the field to win the 2011 Street League Championship and for his efforts he took home $200,000.

Malto made the most of his second chance after gaining entry into the championship due to an injury to Tommy Sandoval. Skating solidly and consistently throughout the contest was enough to edge Nyjah Huston by 1.9 points.

"I am thrilled about winning the 2011 street league championship. To be up against the top ten guys of the series and to win after my injury is just an amazing feeling," Malto said in a post contest interview.

Huston came up short of completing the dream season after winning the first three stops skating at a level higher than everyone else.

Despite the impending Hurricane, the pros took to the course in front of a packed arena a day earlier. Braving torrential rain, heavy winds and shut down transit and major freeways, thousands of loyal fans came out in full force.

Chris Cole was there in the end battling it out with Malto and Huston but was unable to land the big trick he was looking for when it counted most . He didn't go home empty handed as he won the Monster Best Trick with a 360 Flip 50-50 Grind down the Big Section Hubba earning himself a 9.6.

The second season of Street League featured several rule changes, increased prize purses, and the addition of a Championship event. The changes made the second season more exciting for the viewers than in season one. Looking forward to season three of Street League, we expect nothing less than another year of excitement.

  • Me, Myself & I

For the past few months Paul Rodriguez and Plan B had been filming for a video section. They've had to deal with the schedule of one of the busiest skateboarders in the game: Street League contest, Nike tours, Dew Tour contests, Mountain Dew art projects, Maloof Money Cups, etc.

In between all that P-Rod and filmer/editor, Nigel Alexander, were able to put together a banger of a part featuring what the LA raised skateboarder does best; skates the street. No judges, portable bank ramps, instant scoring, hip-hop hype men, or anything like that. Just Paul and what he grew up doing and still loves to do more than anything...Skate The Streets.

"Me, Myself & I" is available on iTunes for a minor charge (to make sure the creative minds behind it can pay their rent this month, just cough up a couple bucks). Below is a trailer, so check out the tease then cruise over to Steve Jobs' music store buy a copy.
