Raoni Monteiro represents the next generation of Brazilian Dream Tour campaigners. As adept on rail as he is above the lip, Monteiro is a serious threat to the tour hierarchy. Although suffering an injury that saw him out of the singlet towards the business end of the season, Monteiro blasted back into form at the season-opening Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast, finishing an equal 9th. Look for a focused and healthy Monteiro to have a real dig this season as he prepares to lead the heavy Brazilian contingent.
