I got an XR100 in about 2000 and started to race in the "mini thumpstar" class for a few years before getting my 125 .where i found i enjoyed jumping more than racing Who do you look up to? Well, Luke Urek is one of my favourite riders for his style and ability, but i look up to guys like Deegan who can go through big crashes and still come back to thier best. In the Aussie scene i like how Maddo' always has time for anyone and is always stepping up and mixing with the worlds best Favourite place to ride? RFDmx compound in Goulbourn is fun but there is no place like home Best tricks? Dead Bodies and i think i have a decent Heli Comp results? Placed 3rd at the 2005 King of the Coast Memorable moments? Placing 3rd in a comp, also spending a week with matt cole learning my first heart attacks... Injury's? Broken ankle Where do you go from here? Where i go from here is anyone's guess, I would love to be able to ride a lot more shows in Australia with big named riders, i'd also like to compete in some bigger events than i have in the past. Any thanks? To my sponsors, Kanga @ Black flys, Kale @ Airstyle Imports, Darren @ Jetpilot, Brit and Jon @ Arsenalmx.com, Dan @ Etnies, Anthony @ Corryong tyre place and to ARD for the opertunity. Also shouts to the RFD boys and a HUGE thanks to my parents for everything! Rhys Hillier is a name to look out for in Australian FMX. He's making his mark now and is sure to go be a real danger to all Aussie FMXers. |
