David Grant and Craig Passero Go Pro for Lotek

    Contributed by Teddy Parker

    Wednesday, September 1, 2010 4:54pm

Rich Hirsch made a couple rad decisions recently. First off, he bumped David Grant and Craig Passero to the pro team. Both riders more than deserving of the honor. Also, he developed a method similar to the Stranger grassroots team (fitting because he owns that company too), which helps riders get some credit for their hard work. So submit an edit to Lotek (and Stranger while you're at it) and get hooked up on the goods...

  • Biography

Rich Hirsch is a BMX rider from Washington who sorta ran the NW scene at the time he started Lotek Footwear. Rich rode and worked for MOSH until the disbanding of the BMX program at that company. Rich then left Subrosa to start his own bike brand, Stranger. Stranger is made through S&M Bikes and is teamed up with OSS Parts through Them BMX.

Rich started Lotek on his own in 2004. Samples drawn on pieces of paper and duct tape turned into the most popular shoes in BMX.
