This raw street skater continues to hold the highest street score ever recorded (99.67) in a contest (Grand Prix, 2000), but he only competes in select competitions, preferring to spend his time filming and parenting his daughter, Kalea. He missed out on XG in 2004 after having his knee scoped, but he's back to 100%.

A hard-charging skater of the highest caliber, McCrank has backed away from the competition scene, saying he's too old (at 28) to put in the full days of events. In reality, he rules when he enters, placing second at the Tampa Pro (March 2004), Globe World Cup (Feb. 2004), and Gravity Games (Sep. 2003).

Rick was invited to the XG's in 1999 and 2000, he wasn't able to make it because of injuries. He is one of the super stars of street skating because of his ability to skate what ever is in front of him. As well as being a dad, a video star and an established Street skater, he also makes skating in contests look effortless. He still holds the highest score ever given in a contest, a 99.67 (Grand Prix, 2000).
