| AboutMalinoski became a star in '04/'05. In his first full pro year, he led the WSA series in wins (5) and had 7 podiums. But there was disappointment -- he suffered 7 mechanicals during WSA races, which cost him the Pro Stock title. Though expected to contend for a WX medal, he failed to even make the semis. Still, the big, strong Canadian is seen by many as heir to Blair Morgan's throne. Had a breakout '03/'04 campaign that included a convincing Semi-Pro Open championship and a pair of Pro podiums -- a 3rd in Stock at WSA Valcourt and a 2nd in Pro Open at the Fargo Indoor. Is good friends with Blair Morgan and spent much time riding motocross with him during the summer of '04. Robbie has improved dramatically since the start of the '02/'03 season and he's now part of the WSA "Tweener" class, meaning he races Pro Stock but Semi-Pro Open. Won the first three Semi-Pro Open National events in '03/'04 but hasn't fared well in Pro Stock. |
