Ross Baker just wants to have fun, hence his position on not taking things too seriously because snowboarding is all about having fun. Baker, who rides at Squaw Valley in California, wants to take his riding in all sorts of directions - from heli boarding in Alaska to filming all over the world. Hopefully he can find the time with his aspirations to study business and finance while learning Chinese in college. But, for someone who plans on riding "for as long as I can," he'll most likely be able to check those to dos off his list.
A skier to start out, Baker became interested in only having one board strapped to his feet when he saw kids standing on their sleds as they went down hills. From then on, Baker refused to sit in a sled, prompting his parents to buy him his first snowboard and the rest was history.
