A versatile skater, Rune uses his unique style and back-to-back tricks in concrete bowls, vert and Big Air. Rune has competed at every X Games, holding the distinction of being the most medaled skater without gold (2 silver, 6 bronze). He came to XG 2005 an injured man, with bruised ribs that kept him from skating the Big Air ramp until the day of the selection session, where he didn't land a trick over the gap, finishing last. One of the most versatile in the Vert field, Rune won the first bowl contest of 2005, the Pro-tec Pool Party, with some of the best riding ever seen in a pool. Outside of skating Rune has a quot;small collectionquot; of BMWs Rune has become a major competitor in the Vert scene. He has no problem finishing in first place and no less than third in almost every contest he enters.
