The Great Dane celebrated 20 years of skating in 2006 with a party he called "Crash in Copenhagen." A versatile skater, Rune uses his unique style and back-to-back tricks in concrete bowls, vert and Big Air. Rune has competed at every X Games, holding the distinction of being the most medaled skater without gold (2 silver, 6 bronze). He came to XG 2005 an injured man, with bruised ribs that kept him from skating the Big Air ramp until the day of the selection session, where he didn't land a trick over the gap, finishing last.
