Electric visuals just released film-isode number three of their SOMETHING FOR YOUR EYE series, which follows their aussie team on a Mentawai boat trip. Craig Ando, Jay Davies, and Ry Craike trade tubes, punts, and bintangs while avoiding malaria and dry reef.

Electric Visuals brings you chapter 2 in their SOMETHING FOR YOUR EYE
short film series. Titled "Colors that burn", this episode provides a
colorful performance-infused contrast to the first chapter's gothic
black and white tuberides at scary Greenbush.

If you spent the last few days ignoring friends and family to watch the Quik Pro Snapper contest like me, you may have noticed the awesome little Quik ads featuring their a-team riders. You may have even commented to your imaginary friends that they are so well shot, like they came straight out of a movie. Well that's because they did silly! Quik has been working on a new film called MOMENTS and those ads are little snippets from the movie. You can watch the whole thing below and holy shit is this thing impressive.

With tomorrow being the August 31st deadline for the contest period, Kustom put together this little video with the top 9 contenders for this year's prize. Last year it was Dusty Payne winning the 50 geees after much debate about the numerous mind-blowing entries, and this year it looks like the judges will have some debating to do as well. The technical brilliance of Chippa's big spin, the innovation of Novak's backflip, or the sheer amplitude of Kerr, Mitch, Craike and Carlson.. Or maybe someone has another clip in the bag that they are sending in just before the wire...This one should be interesting... The winner gets announced in the first 2 weeks of September.

Quikilver has a great track record with its feature films, and I have a great track record whith open bars at parties. Neither Quiksilver nor I dissappointed at the Premiere of "There's No I in GO RY" at the Bondi Bar in Downtown San Diego. The Toohey's (aussie beer, mate) flowed like wine and the women flocked like the salmon of Capistrano. The movie went on just in the nick of time, before the Tooheys decided that i didnt really need to remember anything else, and I can clearly recall being impressed. Ry Craike is a bloody legend! Go Ry!
