Teammates with Travis Baker (and Matt Goerke, Dan Reardon, Ryan Sipes, etc.) on the powerful MotoConcepts squad, Jeff Alessi has been quiet this year. Oddly, and probably for the first time in his career, he just seems to sort of blend in out on the track. Usually he was the guy with the odd gear on the odd bike with the high 3 digit number, but now he's just another fast dude making main events. Jeff seems pretty content at MCR, and is looking good but not exactly setting the world on fire. He sure is a big guy to be racing Lites, though, so maybe the plan is for him to hop on a 450 out east. Jeff ended up 14th in Phoenix- just ahead of Ryan Clark and Max Anstie.
