A surprise semifinalist at WX '04, Vig suffered a slight tear of his left ACL in Feb. '04. The injury ended his season, but he decided against surgery in favor of rest and aggressive physical therapy and he's racing on it with, he claims, minimal pain.
Scott is one of the very few racers competing in WX SNX for the first time. A member of the WSA National "Tweener" class (he races Pro Stock and Semi-Pro Open), he skipped the Dec. '03 National in Winnipeg to attend a smaller MN race where he knew he had a better chance at qualifying for WX, and he did just that.
